Remediation at Rumuchiolu Eneka:

Giolee Global Resources Limited was commissioned by Shell Petroleum Development Company to carry out remediation of crude oil impacted site along 36” Nkpoku-Bomu Pipeline at Rumuochiolu, Eneka in Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. There was an earlier incident (spill) reported within the vicinity (250m) of this current spill within the past five years and this spill has been remediated. An estimated volume of 276 barrels was spilled with an impact of 0.167365Ha. 254 barrels of this spill was recovered.
