Tier 1 Assessment along 24” Nkpoku-Bomu Trunkline / 36” Rumuekpe-Nkpoku Trunkline

Giolee Global Resources Limited was commissioned by Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) Nigeria Limited carry out a Tier 1 Assessment along 24” Nkpoku-Bomu Trunkline / 36” Rumuekpe-Nkpoku Trunkline at Ajeokpori-Akpajo at Ogale, in Eleme Local Government Area, Rivers State. The assessment involved identifying the existence ofhuman receptors and plausible pathways of exposure as well as ascertaining potential risk, developing a Conceptual Site Model (CSM), assessing the impact of the hydrocarbon contaminant in the soil and groundwater samples, comparing the obtained laboratory results with UNEP results, DPR targets/intervention values and Reporting.
