Tier 1 Assessment of crude oil spill incident along 28” Nkpoku-Bomu Pipeline in Norkpo

Giolee Global Resources Limited was commissioned by Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) Nigeria Limited to carry out a Phase 1 Assessment of crude oil spill incident along 28” Nkpoku-Bomu Pipeline in Norkpo, Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State. The assessment involved developing a Conceptual Site Model (CSM), ascertaining the impact of the hydrocarbon contaminant on the soil in and evaluating the possible changes in soil and investigating the potential risks to receptors.
