Tier 2 Assessment Bomu Well 011 :
Giolee Global Resources Limited was commissioned by Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) Nigeria Limited to carry out a Tier 2 Assessment at Bomu Well 11 within OML 11 in K-Dere, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State. It covered 34 Hectares of Land. The assessment included ascertaining the hydrogeological properties of the area; establishing the boundaries of soil and groundwater impact and the potential for offsite migration; determining the extent the previous remedial action and ascertaining areas requiring additional work; identifying the possible receptors and plausible pathways of exposure and derive a site specific conceptual site model (CSM) as well as carrying out modelling using the RBCA software to derive Site Specific Target Level (SSTLs) of identified receptors.
