Giolee demonstrates her technical capacity in providing professional Environmental Studies, Site Assessment Tier I, Tier II Tier III, Environmental Audit, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Environmental Facility Monitoring and Services using her team of personnel and consultants /subject matter experts with the right competencies, skills and capability to carry out the scope of the job, as well as equipment/ tools that meet national and international standards. We also wish to emphasize that all activities are always carried out in line with all national regulatory requirements and international best practices.
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study shall assess all biophysical (biodiversity, sediment, air quality, aquatic studies etc), social and health environmental impacts of the proposed project. The information obtained from the EIA shall forms a baseline for environmental performance evaluation of projects operations.
Environmental Evaluation Study (EES): Environmental Evaluation Study evaluates the effect of an existing facility on the environment.
Environmental Audit: This is a systematic process to evaluate an organization's environmental performance and compliance with regulations.
Environmental Baseline Study (EBS): The Environmental Baseline Study is the acquisition of relevant and appropriate data for determination of the current quality of the various environmental spheres/components.
Environmental Management Plan (EMP): The EMP shall be employed as a tool for the management of both the predicted environmental, social and health potential impacts and also the cumulative impacts of projects.
Shoreline Cleanup Assessment Technique (SCAT): This is a systematic method used to survey and document the extent and severity of oil or other substance contamination on shorelines after a spill.
Environmental Modeling: This is the process of creating and using mathematical representations (models) of environmental systems to understand, predict, and manage them.
Post-spill Impact Assessment (PIA): This is a systematic evaluation of the environmental, social, and economic consequences of a spill that has already occurred.
Tier 1/Tier 2 Assessment: These are part of a tiered approach to evaluating and managing oil-contaminated sites. Tier 1 uses generic soil and groundwater acceptance criteria to quickly identify sites needing management. Tier 2 involves more detailed site-specific assessments, potentially including risk assessments and development of site-specific remediation goals.
Environmental Compliance Monitoring (ECM): This is the process of regularly checking if an organization is adhering to environmental regulations and standards. This involves collecting and analyzing data to ensure that operations, processes, and facilities meet legal requirements related to environmental protection.
