Remediation Process: On-Site In-Situ and Ex-Situ Remediation for Soil and Groundwater.

In situ involves the treatment of contaminants in the subsurface rather than physically extracting it for treatment above ground within the environment of contamination using environmentally safe standards. In situ remediation offers many technical benefits that can achieve better outcomes with cost-effectiveness and good time management. This method is very effective in the treatment of groundwater and low to medium-impact contaminated soil.

An on-site, ex-situ soil treatment method involves the treatment of contaminants within the contaminated environment by extracting it for treatment above ground in a safe process, It enables the effective use of mechanical and manual processes that will yield the expected result that is fit for purpose. This treatment can be used for small to large volumes of soil, ranging from 10,000 to over 500,000 cubic meters of soil using an Engineered Biocell System, inclusive of a leachate collection that encourages indigenous microbial growth, with enhancements. This method also helps in preventing secondary contamination that may arise from the traditional land farming process and is a safe and acceptable global standard of operation for a sustainable environmental management practice.
