PETROLEUM LABORATORY

Our petroleum laboratory conducts a detailed evaluation of crude oil samples, crude condensates and natural gas. This evaluation includes conducting a series of tests on the crude feedstock, distillation and evaluation of the distillation products.

Crude Distillation helps the refiners, oil producers and traders to make informed decisions by simulating the refining conditions using ASTM D2892 AND ASTM D5236 to determine the yields and quality of the distillates using varieties of standards and proprietary methods. This information and data generated by our lab help our client to optimize their processes and maximize profit. 

We have sophisticated, state-of-the-art technology and instruments coupled with experience and trained personnel to carry out analysis in the petroleum sector.

GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY LABORATORY

Our Gas Chromatography (GC) Laboratory is a specialized facility for high-precision hydrocarbon and fingerprinting analysis. It houses a suite of GC-FIDs and GC-MS systems, designed for a wide range of qualitative and quantitative applications.

Each GC is equipped with Flame Ionization (FID) with dual carriage autosamplers, ensuring flexible method development, high throughput, speed and reliable analysis of volatile and semi-volatile compounds—from simple gas mixtures to complex crude fractions.

The GC-MS systems provide enhanced compound identification and source attribution, making them essential tools for fingerprinting, petroleum exploration, phytochemical analyses, environmental forensics, and quality control.

The laboratory operates under rigorous quality protocols and features automated sample preparation, temperature-controlled environments, and advanced data systems, ensuring accuracy, and reproducibility.

WET CHEMISTRY LABORATORY:

All liquid phase analyses are carried out in the wet Chemistry laboratory. It also houses equipment and reagents for quantitative and qualitative analyses of liquid and solid samples. The following analytical techniques are employed in our Wet Chemistry Laboratory: Volumetric, Spectrometric, Gravimetric, Thermo-gravimetric, Electrometric, Colorimetric analyses, etc.

 

TOXICOLOGY LABORATORY

Various forms of activities such as Toxicity Testing, Contaminant Monitoring, Fate and Transport Studies, Research and Development:  are carried out in our toxicology laboratory.

ATOMIC SPECTROSCOPY LABORATORY

Our Atomic Spectroscopy Laboratory houses Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES) for analyses of elemental composition of samples. It provides accurate and precise elemental analysis of various materials.  Our MP-AES provides a simple and fast technique with as low as ppb detection limits.

 

MICROBIOLOGY LABORATORY

Our state-of-the-art microbiology laboratory offers a wide range of microbial analyses such as Total Coliform, Faecal Coliform, E.Coli, Heterotrophic/Utilizing Bacteria and Fungi Counts, SRB, etc., in various environmental media. In addition, we also offer hydrobiology testing with inverted and stereoscopic microscopes.
